Modern Studies

Modern Studies is an exciting subject which helps pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of the most important issues troubling the wider world today.  It is more than just ‘current affairs’ rather it draws on key aspects of sociology, politics, social policy and international studies. Pupils will be encouraged to develop their own interests and to look at issues from different points of view.  Pupils will be encouraged to think, contribute and show respect and tolerance.
